Learning month ;)

This month has been quite intensive, first of all 'cuase at work we'll be really bussy with the expantion, when I started we were 4 campus, now in less than a year, we're 19. That means more work for me :P.

Now, in other things the september moth I dedicate to prepare a Travel to New York City, why? basically 'cause I wanted to see a Japanes Idol group call "AKB48". The travel for me started when I heard the rumors after the Japan Expo that they were going to travel to NYC for the New York Anime Festil, passed weeks and it wasn't an official announcement. So Karla decided to send an email to one of the staff memebers, and he answer that yes the wer going to be there, but he couldn't say it officialy. (Now I understand why ¬¬, the AKS could be quite difficult :P sometimes)

Well we decide to, buy our tickest to NYC trusting on his word. I invite one of my friends, to go with me and pursue Japanese Idol for all Manhattan :P jajaj , and he said Yes. So we bought three tickets to NYC.

Now was the issue to enter at the expo, well I decided to asked for press passes :P, jajaja and guess what the granted me the passes, when I read that mail I was sooo happy, but wait that wasn't all. I push my luck even more, and asked and interview with the akb48 girls, and well looks like september was my lucky month, 'cause the told me "yes, you and your crew can have the interview with akb48". Obviusly I was jumping all over the walls jajajaja.

I never in my life think this will happend. well all of this came with an chane of mails, asking, giveing and changing info. But it was all worth it. Finally thay gave the date, time and place of our interview.

Excelent, in that moment I started preparing my luggage, with my camera and video camera :).

Este mes ah sido bastante intenso, además de que aprendí muchas cosas, y la gran mayoría fuera del trabajo :P jaja, pero primero tengo que decir que en el trabajo eh estado bastante ocupada con la expansión de esta escuela, cuando entré a trabajar aquí eramos 4 campus y en menos de un años ya somos 19. Eso significa mas trabajo para mi.

Ahora en otras cosas, Septiembre lo dedique practicamente a prepara mi viaje a Nueva York, porque?, basicamente porque quería ver a un grupo japones de Idols llamado "AKB48". El viaje
para mi inició, cuando escuché, bueno mas bien leeí el rumor de que AKB48 iban a estar en la New York Anime Festival, padaron semanas y no daban ningun anuncio oficial, así que Karla decidió mandar un mail preguntando al Staff y nos respondieron que sí si iban a estar en esas fechas en NY, pero que no podía decirlo oficialmente. (Ahora comprendo porque, los AKS osea el managment the AKB48, pueden ser un poco dificiles)

Bueno pues después de esa noticia, decidimos comprar nuestros boletos para ir a NY, confiando plenamente en su palabra :P. Invité a un de mis mejores amigos, le dije que si me acompañaba a perseguir un grupo de niñas japonesas por Manhattan :P, y pues me dijo que Sí. Así que compramos 3 boletos .

Ahora estaba el problema de como ibamos a entrar a la expo, bueno pues decidí pedir pases de prensa, y resulta que me los concedieron, cuando vi el correo jaja obviamente me puse muy feliz, pero esperen, eso no era todo ó.Ô, digamos que aprovechando la suerte decidí pedir una entrevista con las niñas de AKB48 y como la ven que si me la concedieron, ahora si estaba que saltaba por las paredes, jamás pense que me la fueran a dar. Hay comprobe qu mi abuelo tenía tanta razón cuando nos decía, "Ustedes pidan, lo mejor que puede pasar es que les den, lo peor, es que no pase nada ":P

Ahora si estabamos listo para preparar el equipaje, con camara de video y de fotos claro está para grabar ese momento. En el próximo post hablaré sobre como nos fue en el viaje.

Work for others sucks, but i'm learning so much

Well i've got to say that july has been a really hard month, why? 'cause this month we have gone from having only 4 to 19 campuses. That's good for bussiness, but not so much when in my area are just the same number of people.

Obviously I started to get out of work really late, but the record was last friday, I left at 11:30 pm, ON FRIDAY!!!

My boss is giving me more administrative work and not just desing, like I was doing, but if I have to check others work, I have less time to do mine.

But in more positive things, I'm learning a lot about how to manage a change of brand, a exponential growth of a company, and looks like soon I'm gonna have a new designer, which is going to help me with all the work that I can see is coming.

I said that work for others sucks 'cause I always wanted to have my own bussines, but I'm aware that I need to learn a lot of things first if I wanna be succesful with that idea.

I let you know if I lose my social life jajaja, well at least my weekends are untouchable jajaja 'cause I used to work on saturday

Birthday, winning and degree :D

This last week was very interesting and fun, why? 'cause was my birthday, July 8, jajaja I had to work but in the office gave me a pie and sang me the happy birthday, well... not exactly 'cause here in Mexico it's "Las Mañanitas".

Early in the morning my parents gave me a flan, and my mom's gift was a framed picture, when I was swimming with a dolphin. I love it!!.

All my friends called me and left me messages, but I saw them 'till Friday. We went for a coffee and a really good chat. On Saturday my girlfriend took me to eat sushi and to see a movie.

At Sunday, my team and I played the finals in one of the tournaments that we are. I thought, it was going to be more difficult, first 'cause the last weekend, I injured my ankle, and the other team was quite good, but I don't know if we were really inspired and concentrated on what we were doing, but we won really easily. And that made me really happy ^^! I love play basketball, it's really fun.

To finish this really long post, I wanna say that today I went to sign my degree, YEAHH!!! Finally!!. Now I just have to wait 'till they send it to my campus so I could go for it.

Welcome everyone!!

Hello everyone, I'm glad announce this new phase in this blog. In this last months i've been making changes in my life and the way I think about a lot of thing. To start this new phase i'm gonna make a summary of my boring life since last year. Well let's begin.

First I finished my career in september, now I'm a Graphic Designer yeahhh!!!, ^^! I started to work before I finish as a trainee in a company call CIE, it's a company that works in the area of entertainment, they manage the ticketmaster system here in Mexico, theaters, and a racetrack just to say some things. I worked in the corporate area, most specifically in the Internal Communication Area, as a Web Designer, working with the intranet, and making banners, updating the red, and of course designing logos, and poster. Was a great job and I learned a lot of things, had a lot of fun, and made really good friends but when I finished school, I wanted a full time job, so i told my boss and she told me that I had to wait at least 3 more months as trainee, obviously I didn't like the idea so I stared to look for another job, a full time job.

Luckily, I got an interview for a job really close to my home, I got to say that in that moment I used to make at least 2 hours to get to my job and other 2 for comeback to my home, so this was a really good opportunity, I went to the interview, and I got it..

I was really happy, but it also was the first time that I was going to renounce from a job, so i didn't know how to tell to my boss. Anyway I told her, she was a little bit shock at first but she is a great person so she understood. She really was a wonderfull boss, and made me improve my skills as a web designer a lot.

But now I was a part of a new company, mmm... well.. a University, yes now I work in a University, in the Marketing Area, lets say that I do all the image for this school and take care the web site, and some times I help other areas if they need something about design or stuff like that

A really good change first of all because I only need 10 minutes to get to my job, that it's the less time I've ever made to get to any place in my life. Nor even when I went to primary school.

And as a consequences of this I have more time to do other things, than just be in the traffic for hours.

And finally, obviously I get a better salary ;), I still work here, I'm happy, my boss is really cool, and I do what I love to do. What else can I ask for in matter of work?

Now in other areas of my life, I decided to start a bussiness with my girlfriend, why? because I don't wanna work for somebody else all my life. We are still preparing the place but really soon I hope will be opening.

Also I started to take lessons of japanese, I really want to go to study, work and live in Japan someday, I think it's a really good place to live for a while.

Well, this first post it's starting to get really long so I'll live it here for today.
